Why should you get
Yahoo! Mail Personal Address?

Yahoo! Mail Personal Address lets you choose your own unique email address. Choose "you@your-name.com" if it's available, or get as creative as you want to be!

One inbox for all your mail
Email sent to your Personal Address is delivered right to your Yahoo! Mail inbox, or you can choose to filter it to a specific folder. (If you don't have a Yahoo! Mail account already, you can set one up in a snap.) When composing emails, you can choose which return address to use: your regular Yahoo! Mail address or your personal address.

Plenty of storage and messages up to 10MB
With 1GB of email storage – or even 2GB if you have a Yahoo! Mail Plus account – you won't have any trouble keeping every email you want. And with message size up to 10MB, you can share lots of photos, documents, video, and other files without worrying about bumping up against the limit.

Advanced virus protection
To help keep you safe, Yahoo! Mail automatically scans all incoming messages and alerts you to harmful viruses. That's the kind of peace of mind that lets you work without worry.

SpamGuard helps keep junk email out of your way
By helping put spam in its place – your Bulk folder – SpamGuard frees you to focus on the messages that really matter.

Includes five email addresses
With Personal Address, you get five email addresses. You can assign them to anyone you'd like – all they need is a Yahoo! Mail account. You also have the option to choose a package with more addresses, or add more later if you need them.

Send messages, not ads
There are no ads or promotional taglines in the messages you send, so it's just more of you coming through.

Easy upgrade to Yahoo! Web Hosting packages
It's more than email - when you purchase Personal Address, you also own the associated domain name. So why not do something with it? Get Yahoo! Web Hosting and use our site-building tools to create your own unique corner on the Web.

only $35/year*
less than $3/month!

Did you know that Gmail was voted #2 in PC World's Top 100 products of 2005, right after Firefox? Why wouldn't you want to switch? Well, because it can be a pain to switch to a new email address. We know.

But, it doesn't have to be. We want to make it easier for you. So, we've created a new switching guide to make the transition easier. The guide covers how to:

Import your contacts into Gmail
Announce your new address
Remind friends that you've changed addresses
Still use your old address to send mail
There's even personalized help for switching from the email service you no longer care to use. But if you're not ready now, we understand. Play around with Gmail for awhile. Send and receive some messages. We think you'll like it (you might miss all that spam, though). And, when you're ready, the switching guide is in our Help Center.

Change is good. It can be easy too.

Thanks,

The Gmail Team

GMail is better here's why:
Auto-save, keyboard shortcuts, customized addresses and more. Sound cool? We think so too. Welcome to Gmail.

We hope this email will help you learn about some of the features that make Gmail unique. To get started, you may want to:

Check out the Gmail Tour in our Getting Started section.
Import your contacts to Gmail from Yahoo! Mail, Outlook, Hotmail and others.
Visit our Help Center to learn about Gmail's features, like free POP access.
Gmail also works great with other Google products like Desktop for offline searching, Picasa for sending your pictures, and Google Talk for making free calls and sending instant messages to your friends.

As you're using Gmail, you might notice that there aren't any large, blinking, irrelevant ads. That's because we only show small text ads that are matched by computers and designed to be relevant to the messages you're viewing.

Users have often told us that the more they use Gmail, the more they discover its added benefits. So go ahead and give Gmail a try. We'll keep working on making Gmail the best email service around. Thanks for joining us for the ride. We hope you'll enjoy Google's approach to email.

Thanks,

The Gmail Team

With advanced features such as junk e-mail filters to stop most unsolicited messages from reaching your inbox, and calendar and contact management tools to help keep you organized, Hotmail isn't just the most popular e-mail choice—it's the smart choice.

Feel more secure - Keep your messages and inbox free from contamination with powerful spam filters, virus scanning and cleaning, and privacy protection.

Easily connect & share - Send and receive e-mail from any Web connection.

Express Yourself - Have fun personalizing e-mail to friends and family with unique emoticons, signatures, background choices, fonts, and layout styles.

Here are some quick and simple ways to make the most of your helpful Hotmail tools right away.

Announce your change of address.
Moving from another online service? Don't forget to send your friends and family a change-of-address e-mail, notifying them of your new MSN Hotmail address. Once your new e-mail arrives, simply click Save Address to add the sender’s name and e-mail address to your Contacts list for easy access when composing new messages.

Save your contacts to Hotmail—it's fast and easy.
Growing your Hotmail Contacts list saves you time in a number of ways. If you build your Contacts list, you don't have to type each individual address when writing e-mail. You can simply select from the individuals or groups in your Contacts list—and send. Even better, with Hotmail you can check your e-mail from any computer with an internet connection, and your Contacts list is always available to you, even if you're not using your own computer. No need to remember an e-mail address—it will be right there in your Contacts list.

Ready to add a new contact? Just follow these three easy steps:
1. Click the Contacts tab.
2. Click the New drop-down arrow and select Contact.
3. Fill in your contact's details and click Save.

Don't forget—you can also have instant online conversations with MSN Messenger. Hotmail uses your Contacts list to show you who is online when you are, so you can immediately start up a conversation with your MSN Messenger contact.

Protect your inbox from junk e-mail.
Now that you're sending and receiving e-mail, the junk e-mail filter will help prevent receiving unwanted messages. Here's how:
1. Click the Options link.
2. Click Junk E-Mail Protection.
3. Click Junk E-Mail Filter, select your desired level of filtering and click OK.

We hope this information helps you get started. Once again, welcome to MSN Hotmail. We appreciate having you as a customer. If you’d like to learn more, please click here.

Sincerely,

The MSN Hotmail Team.

What's been keeping us busy...
Ever since we launched Gmail, we've been working hard to make it better. Here are a few of the features we've added:

Voicemail
Your friends can leave you a voicemail using Google Talk. The voice message is sent to your Gmail account as an audio file that you can download or play right from your inbox. Learn more

Take an action on multiple messages
Now you can apply the same action to all messages in a label or section of your account, such as archiving all mail in your Inbox, deleting all messages in Spam, or applying a label or filter to all relevant messages in your account. Learn more

Reply by chat
When you're about to (or in the middle of a) reply to someone, and you see that person online, you can just send your reply as a chat message. And if you've chosen to save your chat histories, then your chat even gets threaded with that original email conversation. Learn more

Gmail in two more languages
Now you can also use Gmail in Arabic and Hebrew. There are even some specially-designed features for right-to-left languages. Learn more

A picture's worth a thousand words
With contact pictures in Gmail, you can pick ones for yourself, see which ones your friends have chosen, and set certain pictures to show up for specific people in your Gmail account. Best of all, you can even send picture suggestions to your friends. Learn more

Sounds in Gmail Chat
Never miss out on a chat in Gmail again. Now there's a "ping" when people send you a chat. Learn more

Gmail Chat
Get in touch with your friends instantly, from right inside Gmail! It's the biggest thing to happen to Gmail, since well, Gmail. Learn more

Delete button
Delete the messages you really don't want. For the rest, use Archive, which removes a message from your Inbox, but keeps it in All Mail so you can always find it later. Learn more

Gmail Mobile
Point your phone's web browser to http://gmail.com to access Gmail from your mobile phone or device. It's easy to use and it's free (but yes, your wireless plan could still charge you).

It also automatically optimizes the interface for the phone you're using and lets you reply by call to people whose phone numbers are in your Gmail Contacts list. Learn more

Vacation auto-responder
Set an auto-response so that if you're lying on a beach or taking a train across Siberia, your friends will know you won't be checking your email. Learn more

Contact groups
One of our most-requested features is finally here! Now you can send messages to a group instead of having to pick out the individual addresses every time. Learn more

RSS feeds in Gmail
View your favorite RSS feeds right in Gmail as "Clips" along the top of your Gmail screen. Display clips from blogs, news sites and other online sources. Pick from the latest headlines, random popular feeds, or add any RSS/Atom feed you want. Learn more

View as HTML
Now you can view Microsoft Office, OpenOffice or .pdf attachments as web pages by clicking the "View as HTML" link instead of downloading. For when you want to see it faster, you're on a mobile device, or you don't want to install software just to view a document. Learn more

Shortcuts on the right
Now Gmail automatically detects addresses and tracking numbers, and displays useful information such as directions and package tracking alongside your messages. Learn more

Virus scanning is here!
For your protection, Gmail now automatically scans for viruses every time you open or send a message with an attachment. We even try our best to remove all the viruses we find. Learn more

Export contacts
Export your Gmail Contacts and save them in a file for back-up or to use in another account or service–great if you're using Gmail's free POP access. Learn more

Auto-save
Saves to ‘Drafts' as you're composing. Never lose a half-written email again.

Get to Gmail from any web page
Download the new Gmail-enabled Google Toolbar. Search your mail or instantly go to your Inbox from any web page with just one click. Learn more

Offline access to messages
